Good morning everyone! Long time no see. I’ve been getting back into my routine here in LA after taking a break to move and get settled. I never thought I’d be a Downtowner, but I love it, Boo and Trace are thriving, and our new space is coming together nicely. I’ve fallen back into my weekly routine of working out after a very long hiatus in the Bay Area. If I’m not walking up to 5 miles a day in Downtown (I walk everywhere, that’s the beauty of Downtown) or if I’m not at the gym in the evening, you’ll find me here in Silverlake running these stairs in the morning.
I’m a salty sweet person when it comes to snacks, so I’ll most likely gravitate towards trail mix or chips of some kind. You know me, I don’t like boring food, which is why I love that their flavor profiles are nothing like the basic plain packaged nuts out there. Sahale Snacks can be found here, and they have all kinds of complex flavor combinations such as Pomegranate Vanilla Flavored Cashews Glazed Mix (my current favorite,) Banana Rum Pecan Glazed Mix, and Tangerine Vanilla Cashew-Macadamia Glazed Mix.
Sounds amazing right? They’re delicious, and made with high quality ingredients: Non-GMO, Gluten Free, and contain zero Artificial Preservatives or Sweeteners without tasting like “health” food.
My friend Grace the other day tried some after our get together and for someone who doesn’t like nuts, she wouldn’t stop eating my cashews….
So, in a nutshell (pun intended) that’s what I’ve been up to lately. Working a ton, trying all the amazing restaurants that I’ve missed in LA, and in turn working out way more and feeling overall healthier.
How do you all stay powered through the day? Are you a snacker like me or are you a 3 main meals type of person? Let me know, and I’ll touch base soon!
