Yellow Maxi Dress in the Desert

Happy first of April! It’s beginning to feel a lot more like spring here in LA. And of the easiest ways to dress for this weather is with a good ol fashioned maxi dress. It’s an easy, breezy, and effortless way to dress for warmer days. I of course have to resort to my one staple and that’s my moto jacket to toughen up even the prettiest of dresses such as this, but I feel like without it, the look wouldn’t be complete.

One of my favorite brands for bohemian pieces is a small label called Rahi Cali. They’re the perfect blend of boho meets California cool which makes for effortless styling. All of their prints are just plain fun to wear and their embroidered pieces (like this one) is really quite gorgeous. I still have this dress and it’s been out and about during the spring and summer months. Not to mention, you can eat in maxi dresses (thank gawd) because they’re so forgiving!
