Shopping at Sentiero

It’s a new week and getting ready for NYFW is well under way. Let’s start from the ground up, shall we? Sentiero is a gorgeous and new luxury boutique on iconic Maiden Lane. They carry a beautiful range of Italian brands, from Giuseppe Zanotti to Loriblu and Ballin. There’s something magical about Maiden Lane. I remember walking through often as a kid with my Dad (he’s the shopper in the family) and it’s still a very charming and iconic place that holds near and dear to me.

A little gem, Sentiero provides a haven for the shoe lover such as myself. Ellada the owner has an exquisite eye and her staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. If you are ever on Maiden Lane, please come in and say hello to them and take a look for yourself.

As much as I wanted to play it safe with the black Loriblu’s I tried on, I kind of fell in love with these Nando Muzi creepers. Not only are they light and comfortable, but the blush tones act as more of a neutral and I figure I can style them just as easily for NYFW.

What do you all think? Do you like my choice? I can’t wait to pull outfits around my new shoes, so until then thanks for reading and keeping up with me! Lots of exciting things to come so stay tuned.

A huge thank you to Ellada and Sentiero for a wonderful experience

Huge thank you to Rachel Radcliffe Photography for capturing it all

M.Gemi x Goop

You all know I love my M.Gemi shoes. I wear one of them on my Instagram feed at least once a week it seems. They’re one of my absolute favorite brands to wear (and work with) but overall they’re just beautifully crafted and so amazingly comfortable. I have literally walked miles in my Stellatos without a single complaint from my feet.

M.Gemi has become a part of my weekly wardrobe, I wear them so often and they’re definitely part of my lifestyle. From running around town for errands, to dressing up jeans for coffee and dinner, M.Gemi takes me everywhere. Which brings me to Goop. If you are a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, then you know about her lifestyle site. I personally am not a fan of she herself, however I do like that Goop is a one stop shop type of deal that promotes quality, often times green, and trusted products that cover all lifestyle needs.

M.Gemi and Goop launches their capsule collection today and I wanted to share their new styles for you. There’s something for everyone, a sneaker, heel, flat, and sandal. I personally love the pointed toe flat.

As always, thank you for reading. If you have any questions regarding M.Gemi as a company or how the sizes fit, I’d be happy to help.

*You can also shop my M.Gemi Style Page where you can find my favorites year round (new customers get $40 off automatically at checkout when you go through my page.)

Band of Flowers

Getting ready for Summer with an off the shoulder blouse from The Mint Julep Boutique. Flowers are everywhere, in our yard or at Mille Fiori, my favorite local flower stand on Piedmont Ave (where we shot this blouse.) The Bay Area may be rather windy at the moment, but I’m ready for pit fruits, family bbq’s, and some warmer weather. What are your summer plans?

Grazie, M.Gemi

Sometimes I forget that I’m one part Shoes, one part Sashimi, so this post makes complete sense as I am happily a part of one of the most coveted luxury brands of shoes to hit the market: M.Gemi. As part of their Client Advisory Board I get to give you all some special treats along the way.

If you’re not familiar with their handcrafted Italian shoes, I think you soon will be because they’ve had some beautiful pieces grace bloggers and stylists everywhere. They were one of the first to bring The Lace Up flat onto the market as well as the Brogue and The Loafer that women have been wearing nonstop this year. They’ve completely reinvented the way we shop for splurges like these: online, free shipping, free returns. What’s more to love? Well, I’ll tell ya.

For those new to M.Gemi use my code “Lauren705” for $40 off your purchase, it never expires and you’ll get a great deal for they almost never have sales!

It’s A Goorin

Ooh get excited Valley peeps, Goorin Bros has officially opened on Ventura and I’m thrilled about it! I love hats. You’ll see me wearing my favorite black floppy hat a lot (see my “About Me” page, I’m wearing one from Shopbop.) Hats are the easiest way in my opinion, to complete an outfit and strike up a conversation. For those of you new to the hat game, Goorin Brothers is a fantastic shop that carries men’s and women’s artisan crafted headwear with many locations all over. Throwback to 1895 when the original Goorin created the handmade hats and now they’re 4 generations deep!

Last night was their grand opening so I happily popped in to try some fun hats on. They had a live jazz band playing, little bite cupcakes from Big Sugar Bakeshop, and a raffle for a night’s stay at the Beverly Garland Hotel *fingers crossed* It’s a great looking shop and they carry every shape imaginable from Gatsbys to Cloches, to Outbacks and Fedoras.

Below are some of my favorites that they carry. Go and try them, you’ll see how easy it is to perk up any look.

Thanks for reading! *tips hat* ;) – Lauren
