Marble Moment

Morning everyone. If you’re like me, working from home can be a luxury and a challenge all at the same time. For one, it’s easy to get too comfortable in your own home, which may sound nice in theory but it makes productivity harder. Since I bounce back and forth between the East Bay, SF, and Peninsula every other week, my second office might as well be my car. Feeling less than inspired lately with desk items and typical office things, I’m really happy that Case App and I got in touch.

If you’re not familiar with Case App, they’re a site where you can custom make your own skins for iPhones and laptops. I’ve always wanted to upgrade my laptop, so now I have one finally! Plus, I added my website on the corner as a detail.

This skin I chose is Strawberry Marble. I’m a sucker for marble anything. My childhood home was designed with both black and white marble in the bathrooms and fireplace, so you see my affection for the stone started from a young age. There’s something aesthetically calming when looking at it too, which is how I want to feel when I open up my laptop every day :D img_1281img_1284

If you’re like me and work from home, how do you stay inspired and productive? Do you believe in feng shui? Do you find yourself always cleaning?img_1279

Thank you Case App for my awesome new skin. If you’d like to create your own, go to their site here and use “shoesandsashimi20” for 20% off at checkout. Enjoy!

That’s A Wrap

It’s been a while, hope you’re all well and thank you for being patient as I’ve been a little behind lately here. However you can always find me on Instagram to see what I’m up to each day! I’m happy to finally release two of my projects that I’ve been Department Head on, a commercial for Nongshim USA featuring Ki Hong Lee (The Maze Runner franchise) shot in Los Angeles and the November Issue of Diablo Magazine on stands currently, shot in Oakland, CA.

Fun Fact: It took 14hours to shoot this 30 second commercial in the Hollywood Hills. As per usual, I was the only female on an all male film crew.

And that’s a wrap. Hope you enjoyed, this specifically airs overseas on all networks in Seoul and Hong Kong, however you can watch it on Youtube of course. >> Full Commercial

Soon after I got back from LA, Diablo Magazine called to have me style their November Issue and I happily signed on because it marks my first editorial shoot in the Bay Area. The Food and Wine Issue is an important one because let’s be honest, I love to eat and what’s most fitting is that we shot the whole thing in Oakland, just minutes away from where I grew up. Be sure to pick up a copy, on news stands, grocery stores, and Barnes and Noble in Northern CA. Cheers!
